MAADI, a monthly news letter in Chakma language was first published on January 2003 from Dharmanagra, Tripura. The first editor was Kusum Kanti Chakma. It was lucky enough to get affection of Dangu Kusum Chakma, Dangu Matilal Chakma, Dangu Debal Chakma, Dangu Aniruddha Chakma, Dangu Ajit Kanti Chakma, Dangu Nila Kanti Chakma and numerous other stalwarts from time to time. It was ceased to be published for several times and got new life with the touch of some other zesty hands. The last issue of Maadi was published on September, 2018.
